Power Steering System capacity?

Postby donsladek » Wed 01.08.2018, 03:18

Anyone know what the total capacity of the power steering system is? I'm going to drain and refill/vacuum bleed my system, and I'm wondering how much power steering fluid I need. I'm going to try the RedLine power steering fluid:

I too was trying to find the answer to this the other day .
It doesn't say in the handbook which is an oversight as it states all the other fluids
I have used almost a Uk litre . first top was 3/4 of the bottle . work it side ti side for a bit then left to settle overnight and it took almost all the rest of the bottle.

I used to run my NA on redline . seemed sweet enough.
i also used their water wetter coolant . quite thin but i thought it made a difference.
