Does anyone know if there is a kit available for a PAS pump refurb? :cry:

Maybe the part numbers will help you find something nearby? The National 221720 Shaft Seal has an info page with all of the dimensions.

My experience on tinkering with PAS pumps is.... 0 So I expect another steep learning curve.

True, but not THIS one as it turns out now...

I cut the belt to the pump (as it was time to change anyway)
This did not change anything, so the problem was not in the PAS pump (but the Alternator...)
