S2 Owners Handbook - Copy of last Maintenance Record

Postby muley » Thu 06.09.2018, 20:24

Hi

Is there a kind soul out there who could scan or photocopy a blank copy of the last Maintenance Record page?

It shows 4 Time Period Services..

Needed as Ribena's book is now full up!

Thanks

Hi Jim - one of my remaining brain cells seems to remember that Phil (Surfboardfiller rather than Lotusflasherman) might have produced these in the deep, distant past ?

Yes, thanks Mark - they are out there but valid for the SE.

The S2 Handbook is subtly different

Cheers

I knew you had done something Dave. Is that what Jim wants though ? Looks more SE than S2 ?

PS it's a lot better than what I have done ie just drawn 3 lines across the next blank pages to create room for 4 service entries

As I've never owned an S2 I don't know what the difference would be - but it may be something to do the job for now.....

That is helpful. I'll try to scan an original so you can see what I'm on about.

Cheers

Jim,

I simply replicated the SE pages in MS Word and created the extra boxes, then converted it to a pdf doccument (using the same typeface as the original book).....

..... I'll see what i can do with the one you scanned in if it helps - just so I know (to get the typeface correct), is the book the same size as the SE one? I assume that it will be, but thought it best to ask first.

Jim: I’d be very happy to do this, but I’m 6,000 miles away from my S2 at present. Will be back around 26/9, so let me know if you still need it then :D

I’m about 6 metres away from mine at present and the handbook is in the boot, but I’m not going out now in the dark to get it. I’ll have a look tomorrow, you’ve reminded me I need to make some copies of my own before it fills up.

Jim, (and anyone else who wants them!),

Are these something like what you want?

I produced the complete SE Handbook with extra service panels using Pages 73, 74 & 75 so it now goes to 168k miles. It's in 3 pdf files zipped together and hosted by John (Brit-Car-Nut) on his manuals site..

Download Zip here www.lotusm100.com/manuals/Owners%20Handbook%20wPages.zip

Designed to be printed double sided in landscape so you put all 3 together, fold it in half and have a new Handbook to keep in the car. If it gets wet, just print another .. :D

You really need a big guillotine to trim the page edges to make a proper job. Do not know what the difference is for the S2 but happy to produce equivalent if somebody lends me a handbook to disassemble, copy and reconstruct.
Phil

Leave me alone, I think I know what I'm doing.
Cars: Subaru Forester 2.5XTN, Eclat Riviera, brace of Pacific Blue SE's, Elan+"S.... and now a Collapso SE
