The A68

Just did a trip up to Scotland to see an old mate. It was a pity that the weather didn't allow the top to come down, but I did renew an acquaintance with an old adversity, the A68.

At this time of the year, it's virtually empty and great fun to drive. Especially in an Elan.

It got better.

I had a very good lunch at the Manor House Inn, Carterway Heads. I didn't look at their accomodation, but if it matched the rest of the pub, it would be no problem.

Apparently the Cobra Club meet at the same place.

So it can't be that unfriendly to car enthusiasts either.
