We have 3 laptops running from same Netgear Wireless Router.
IP Address conflict means your router has handed out a local IP address to one of the machines and another machine is set to use the same address.
All of the machines should be set to Obtain IP Address Automaticaly and Obtain DNS Servers Automatically.
The settings are applied to each connection so the wired connection and wireless connections have to be set individually.
On XP: Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > Right-click on Local Area Connection > Left Click Properties > Double Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) V4
Radio both of the Obtain IP Automatically and Obtain DNS Automatically. OK your way out.
Do the same for the Wireless Connection.
Check all of the connections on all of the machines -- one of them is almost certainly manually setting an IP Address and that is causing the conflict.
Good luck.
