Having been here since 2003 I suddenly could not logon.
The only thing I can think of is that my email address changed - About 10 years ago. Why this should suddenly reject my logon
is beyond me. Could I please be restored !
I have until now been known as Bolsom.
In hope.
Colin

Colin, I can assure you that you haven't been intentionally banned.
In the past we had problems when trying to blanket ban far eastern spammers but since the registration rules were changed, we haven't had a problem for over a year. The only other problem I can think of is that your pc protection programs have taken a dislike to LEC for some reason, so could you let us know what message you are getting please?

Hi,
When I tried to logon I was returned to the logon screen. After a couple more attempts I was sent back again
and there was a message in red saying something like you have had too many attempts and there was a
distorted word to key in. After many attempts I gave up. I don't remember the exact messages because I
have been in and out of hospital twice in the last six weeks. ( not for senility I hasten to add)
Oh yes I also had to key in the initials of Colin Chapman

Thanks Colin, I've passed the info on.

Hi
I still can't get in as Bolsom. Has the password been changed?.
I just tried and got the previous message ' Too many tries'
after one attempt. I am mildly frustrated.

I too got locked out recently for no accountable reason (no more sarcastic digs at Dico or Smiffy than normal
)
PS I never understood what the point was of keying in Colin Chapman's initials but it worked

) I kept typing in CC but it kept booting me out until a moderator sorted my problems out

I always forget the initials!
And do i use them with dots or not?
Capitalized?
So many questions for a simple Captcha... Why not use something like 4+3 = ?

I get booted out about once a year. At first I thought someone was playing a joke
For all that matter they still might be.

It takes more than a moderator to do that Mark!
