There's two schools of thought on Elan brakes.

My original article did state that the brakes should be upgraded before fitting a performance exhaust or Mountain chip. Unfortunately, that particular section was cut by the sub-editor in order to get the article to fit the space available. Typical, as it's the one section I'd have left in. :lol:
Serial Elan owner: 2002 - 2012. I may yet buy another one...

Great when fettled, awful when not :?

I suspect that's why everyone goes down the HiSpec, PNM, AP route ?
