I have 4 x used MXX2 tyres 205/50 x 15 2 with very god tread 2 with OK. Taken off my Elan in 1999.
Very rare if you are into originality these are a must. Make me an offer as I need the space.

Mike
I personally think you are unlikely to sell these tyres for road use, merely for display purposes only. It is generally considered that once 10 years old, tyres are past their best. They may have loads of tread remaining, but the rubber will have degraded, become very hard and losing pliability. Your tyres will be approaching 20 years old: seriously do not think anyone would want to use such old rubber to drive on.
I think you would be better taking them to the tip for re-cycling.

I agree with most of your comments. However there may be someonwe who wants them.
It really depends on how the tyres are stored and the heat cycles they have been through if used. I have an Esprit S2 which when laid up un a dry workshop in 1986 was then fitted with NEW Goodyear NCTs and lifted onto blocks. The tryres are still as new and have not hardened at all. All the Esprit fanatics who have seen and looked and felt these tyres say they are good to go the big factor is the temp they have been sored at in a dark place and never used so compound has had no heat cycles. The big test will be when on the road.
But I take your point thats why I put them up for offers.
