oops.....must have missed it previously from this seller.....

I have seen it before but thought it sold.........
it was just the threat of scrappage if it didn't sell which concerned me more.........

I would have expected a start price nearer to the scrap value if that was a genuine comment - perhaps starting at £50 would get some interest (well, it would from me ).

i didn't buy it, but i have seen it advertised 3 times on ebay in total. first time it was up for sale at bout 900 quid. 2nd time it was about 500 quid.

now it's sold, hopefully it's put to good use on someones restoration project.

'Twas me as I didn't want it to be scrapped (as the seller suggested) but I'll certainly put it to good use as I've got a couple of hardtop projects to start with. The only issue right now is getting it back to base! Anyone got a trailer or know where I can hire one? Failing that I'll have to hire a large van......

The seller originally wanted £1300 then £900 and then about £500 and then it came down to the present price.

A Luton van with a tail lift can transport this.

I agree with Phil. I used a Luton I picked up at Northgate Vehicle Hire Limited in Southampton. 65 quid per day. My friend and I heaved it inside using the lift gate once it was hanging on the main floor. It is now my friend's shop in Wiseton. Great deal. It would have been easier with a few more helpers to lift it, but we got it in the van and headed north.
