I remember when clams shells where over £500 .
tidy piece of kit there .

Yes, it has changed a lot.
Maybe with so many being broken over the past 5 or so years there are more spares than cars needing them, plus the value of them vs cost of repair make a little damage a cat C/D insurance write off.

My car was a cat called I surface claim with only front clam and headlamp damage the registration J620 CJD. Is this car known to the club?? Any history would be most appreciated, I been told the car came from the South East somewhere.
