Front Spoiler Lip Retainer Clamp Plates Now $40.00 for all 3

Postby Brit-Car-Nut » Thu 06.06.2019, 13:33

I am having a set of Front Spoiler Lip Retainer Clamp Plates (A100B0700K & A100B0701K) laser cut out of "304" stainless steel and wanted to know if anyone would be interested in getting a set (qty 1 Center & qty 2 Sides) at the same time.

They will cost $40.00 for all 3 pieces PLUS postage from the USA. The last price for them in plastic from Lotus was £10.00 per section $14.00 (plus VAT).

This is NOT a GROUP BUY offer, rather as long as I am paying to have them created and paying for the set-up, I thought some of you might want a permanent solution as these will not crack, tear or otherwise break, so I would just order a few more.

I am interested in all comments and suggestions.

Posting all sets to one UK location would significantly lower the cost to ship them since the box would be fairly large (I estimate: 30inch x 6inch x 2inch) but I could ship separately if necessary.

Thank you!

Hi.

I’d certainly be interested in a set as my lip spoiler is a bit saggy with no support at all so this should help. Sign me up.

I am in NJ

Thanks.

for those in the UK who want to avoid shipping and possible import duty
there is a drawing on here......or at least there was.......
where you can take it to a shop and have them cut........
just print them out on sheets of A3.........or if you're DIY then you could cut yourself some from what ever material you fancy.....

I'll just try to find that drawing now........lol

G,

I can't find the drawing (yet!) - but the original Group Buy thread is here.

I know I had 2 sets at the time (one for each car), and I remember getting a set of A3 'prints' which I may still have somewhere - but they'll take some finding and it won't be until I relocate the loft contents to the garage.

For UK owners, the price for a set is £35.00.

I don't believe there is any duty on shipments under £50.00

To DIY these in Stainless, you would spend that much just for the material...

If I was to ship 8 sets in one box, the postage would be around £65.00 or £8.25 each.
Shipping them individually would be around £18.00

I considered just grabbing some stainless stock and running them through the band saw,
but getting them made to exact original specs, in a better material was a much better decision (in my opinion).

I'm pretty sure that Steve at LaserIt in Yate made Paul's original batch.

Geoff,

I don't know if they did the clamp plates, but they certainly did the camber shims for me.... excellent company.
