What is this hose?

Postby Richmmm » Wed 12.01.2022, 22:51

Recent SE owner here:

While the car was on the garage ramp, the mechanic pointed out a few issues, one of which was a hose that looked close to failure. It joines a metal pipe.

I took a picture of the pipe, but I cannot work out which pipe it is from the parts list

Can anyone recognise it?

Hard to tell from the photo but some thing (oily?) Is leaking on and around the metal pipe. Do you have a wider angle photo?

From the photo, it looks like the hose is the Turbo housing return hose
A100E6345S
and the pipe it is attached to is the Radiator by-pass pipe
A100E6338S
(parts 4 and 13 from the Diagram here)

Looks like SJ has the hose in stock...

Edit:
Also, per Rambo's comment about the oil...maybe an old CAS O-ring is leaking? It looks to be in about the right spot...

Thanks for all the info, there are a few oil leaks to sort out in the spring - hopefully nothing too serious.

I would replace all the hoses myself.
Still happy with my Samco set.
