Hi everyone,
After long deliberation I have finally bought an M100 SE. It seems pretty sorted, bar some minor issues, and so far I'm really pleased with it (only got it on Saturday April 3rd!).
Although I'm a detailing freak, I'm no mechanic and am hoping someone on here can recommend a good garage somewhere near me. I live in a village in South Somerset very near to both the Dorset and Devon borders. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
Thank you all in advance

Hi Critter10,
Welcome to LEC.
I am pretty sure that Mike (MpX) will be along soon to say hello, as he lives in your area (ish!).
You are fairly close to both SJ Sportscars (Crediton) and South West Lotus (Lifton) - both are recognised places with a good selection of parts, and, more importantly, knowledge of the M100 (which many 'Main Dealers' have no experience with.
There are probably a few 'local' places who can help, but Mike will know more than I do as I lived in North Somerset until I moved to Wales, and tended to do everything on the drive at home.

What's that....am I no longer the only M100 in the village???
Welcome Critter10. Where are you? We're up on Windwhistle Ridge near Cricket.
Dave's already covered my entire font of M100 wisdom. I've used Phil at the
SouthWestLotusCentre to help look after the Elan for many years - they have a wealth of knowledge and at least two of the family have run their own. Its a family business, Phil's the Dad but these days ever hopeful of winding down to retirement. Son James now handles the Sales and Parts side of the business, while son Ben is mostly in charge of the workshops. Having said that I've done the mods on the car myself, but I get an annual service and MOT and most repairs at SWLC.

I'm just outside Wells, and I recommend South West Lotus too!
They may seem a long way (almost Cornwall) but because it's M5 and A30 mostly (or A303 and A30 for you I guess) it doesn't take too long to get there!
