Subscribing to a thread - How To?

Hi, I've been doing lotsa catchup reading in the forum recently. Some thread were useful to me, some not at this point of time.
I would like to subscribe to some of the thread that may help me rectify the problems i have with my new acquisition. problem is... there does not seem to be an option to subscribe to a particular thread..
help pls

If that doesn't do it for you, post a comment on the thread, then it will automatically subscribe you to it.

I've set my browser's homepage to "View unread posts".
Admittedly there are always a few topics that I'm not interested in, but it's easy to keep up with all the latest goings on, and just use the search facility for the rest.
Striking fear into the hearts of duplicate posts everywhere...! :P

Nope - only if you set that up in your Control Panel.

I never set it up that way, so I just made an assumption. Now I'll make another one. That's the default, so unless you change it in your control panel, it will automatically be there.

lol - fair enough! I turned it off ages ago because I was getting loads of email for all the new posts.

tks for the advise

seems we have to manually subscribe to the thread by selecting the option at the bottom of the thread.

i have posted some questions on various thread, but they are not automatically subscribed to, although i am able to see them at the 'User Control Panel' by selecting "Show your posts" at the front page.
