Finally got the Elan in her new home today. :D
I have always managed to keep her undercover but the old shed was far from ideal, necessitating a full cover as well for adequate protection. This has meant, as a lot of you probably find, on a dry sunny winters day when a drive out was a possibility the thought of "unwrapping" her usually put me off the idea. Now, finally, all I have to do is open the doors and we're off. There's a lot of fitting out to do but its going to be a real pleasure to be able to work on the car in some decent conditions at last.

All these photos of Elans on drives reminded me that I ought to sort out some old photos and post on here ...

... anybody remember the Snetterton Guinness World Record lap?

Bet you enjoy blatting down those Gloucestereshire lanes Geoff ?

From memory there is a good pub at Frampton Cotterell just down the road from you http://www.thelivebristol.co.uk/ Couple of lovely sisters from Caerphilly running the place these days :bananasex:

Maybe you should take Sarah for a blat and treat her to some fine beers and nosh ;-) You could be lucky - it might not be the only ride you get that night
