Show your big/upgraded-brakes ...

Postby XiPHiAS » Sun 10.08.2008, 15:51

Because next wheek my AP's bigbrake upgrade will be installed, but it's also interesting for other members to see how the other big- of upgraded brakes look onto an Elan.

Maybe I can get some inspiration for the color I d'like to change.

Please post pictures of your upgraded brakes.

Why changed from the 17" back to the 16" S2's? Just for the OEM look?

The wheels are so deep into the body of the car, onto ET45 the car looks so much better but the handling is messed up...

Going with a mustard-yellow LOTUS graphic (matches the car's color) atop black caliper for my next car.

Does anyone have any tips for making the standard caliper appear a little smoother and therefore prettier?
Is a fine grade sand paper a good idea?

I've upgraded my (ventilated) disks, (sporty) pads and stainless steel brake lines on my previous Elan. That was a hughe difference, but on my new Elan I prefered a bigbrake kit to have more brakepower.

My AP brakes are superb, but I'm thinking now to upgrade the assistent pump and piping to get some more :)
