Some insurers (e.g. Adrian Flux) are offering discounts for LEC members however they require a membership reference number. You can get your unique reference number as follows:
Internet Explorer users:
1. Hover the mouse over your username.
2. Click the right mouse.
3. Select (click the left mouse) Properties from the list.
4. You will see a pop-up box with link properties given as http://forum.lotuselancentral.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=XYZ.
5. The number (XYZ) at the end of the line is your unique LEC membership number.
Alternative method, especially none IE (Chrome, FireFox etc.) users:
1. Click on your username to open up your profile.
2. Look in the browser navigation window for the address: http://forum.lotuselancentral.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=XYZ.
3. The number (XYZ) at the end of the line is your unique LEC membership number.
Notes:
If you can't see the number resize or maximise the pop-up box.
You can check the procedure on my name and you should be able to see that I am 1541.
Updated with alternative method 10/2/2011.

Ditto. They also covered my mate as a named driver this weekend so that he could take it on track.

I seem to recall there was some procedure for getting documentary proof of club membership (rather than just getting the number).
My new insurance company are pestering me for such a document - are any of our super-helpful admins in a position to provide such a thing?
Thanks!
Adam

Not that I'm an Admin.
Not that I'm a
responsible person.
But I am the kitty fiddler and I guess I'm responsible for collecting membership fees.....
