You might think it's a long way 'round to the chemist, but that's peanuts compared to the universe...
and in a much better position to judge for yourself.
There were other examples such as this over the years to the point where I now rarely take much notice of any reviews and instead use my own judgement - however flawed it may be, it has to be better, particularly if it's me who has to pay for and live with it!

This kind of article just sucks because it's some idiot hurting the value of our cars with his stupid opinions. Certainly, if he compared it to other cars of the day, he'd have to have nothing but praise. To compare it unfavorably, in any way at all, to an MX5 is outrageous! Sure, the MX5 is a good car, but gimme a break! I wouldn't be seen standing close to one, much less driving it! The only use an MX5 has, is providing some aftermarket windblockers that can be easily modified for an M100.
Other than my speedo being wildly inaccurate, everything in my car works exactly as advertised. I don't even recall anybody ever asking for help on LEC about other gauges working intermittently, as in the test car, other than the boost gauge, which is always just an earthing issue, easily fixed in 2 minutes.
