Anyway, while fixing the rear outriggers the fuel tank is out and the lower mounting points for the tank support straps are in a low position where they take a lot of rain.
They looked rusty but seemed solid enough but the design has a slot at the bottom where the aluminium straps run through. They're both rusted solid on mine and don't rotate
as they should but one has now snapped completely. I've never seen anyone mention this as a thing but if you've never checked these, they're probably worth a look !
