Red one today with black wheels, Lechlade Oxon, 17:30

I was sat in the worlds biggest queue of traffic in the mighty Ovlov.

In all honesty not taking much notice as we weren't going anywhere fast.

Well Bugger me...

Two in two days!

Today’s encounter was all a bit surreal,

I decided to pop to a local-ISH car repair replace for a bit of respray action,

The conversation commences...

I rang up the other day about a respray...I spoke to a lad called Steve...

OK sir, what car have you got...

A Lotus Elan

we've got an old Lotus Elan in at the moment

Mines not the old one, it's the new one, well I say new..It's still 20 years old...

Anyway...we walked through the workshop to find Steve and then saw an M100, exactly the same as mine...

Now have you seen the trick where the magician steals the tax disc through the windscreen, I did it the opposite way round with an LEC zap...

Anyway... the respray on the rear bumper was tip top, so it was the perfect recommendation.

He even got out your test piece to confirm the A21 Lotus colour match...result. :-D

I had a look at your front bumper to offer a bit of free advice with Steve, I spotted your radiator is dripping, looks like your end cap crimp is about to let go or the seal has gone on one of the two bleed points.

Any way Steve dashes off to get a camera, just to prove I was there... :D

And to reciprocate, here's a few the other way...

Spotted at last! (Three and a half years!)

That was me Paul, returning from an Aston Martin driving experience at Elvington, a Christmas present from my son and daughter. Didn't you notice the stupid hat, grey hair and fixed grin?

That's gotta be the one I saw the other day! IT's only a few miles away from castle Combe.

Was the LEC zap above a club lotus sticker, which was above the tax disk...

In fact... Is it the car in the pictures several post earlier?
