Well I've been living in Dubai now for 2 weeks and seperated from my Elan (stored somewhere in Scotland) for even longer

Strangely though I've seen (rather unexpectedly as they don't seem to do classics out here) 2 Elans. The first flew past as I was waiting at a roundabout at the Southern end of Dubai. It was black and appeared to have a bit of turbo smoke.
The second was white and rather sorry for itself. It appeared (large amount of dust inside and out) to have been abandoned in a multi storey next to the Time-Out offices. It had some strange badge on bonnet instead of Lotus one, at first I though it was Kia but no it was a Lotus. It had steel wheels with some rather convincing (from a distance) covers. the roof seals were all shot as you would expect and the body work had a few scrapes. It had a red interior (unusual?).

Anyway. Anyone know who these belong to or wiliing to own up to ownership?

Could start a Dubai Lotus/M100 club, the I would have an excuse to buy one out here!

Spotted a Red Elan SE in Great Missenden on Saturday 4th Feb, guess your kid was taking same exam mine was as you were parked outside the school and drove out as we walked out
