The Back To The Future one (no doubt a replica) was in the shopping centre in Cheltenham a couple of weeks ago. As I walked back through he was putting number plates on it -he was going to drive home in it! I just thought how cool is that?!
Someone near me used to have one, saw it quite often but not for many years now.

I was coming back from GST Friday afternoon about 3:30 and spotted a DorLorean on the A11 just past Cambridge turn off headed north. He (or she) wasn't being shy with his right foot either...

Heading north on M1, just north of Jnct 25 red M100, hood up at 3pm. I was heading south in white van so couldn't see reg no. (!)
On same journey I passed a red Ferrari. It took me ages as some chop-shop had added 8 feet of extra car behind the B post! Urrgh......a LWB Ferrari limo looked awful. Can't begin to imagine how it handled.

Two Elans at the Bromley Pageant this year... one red, one blue...

So forgive me - I stood around but the owners were obviously away enjoying a different part of the show. I was there in my Mk2 Astra with the Vauxhall Drivers Club.

I chatted to the Red owner for a while as my Tamora was dead opposite. Brother's Ruby Red Elise was slightly further along from the Red Elan. Good day though

Interestingly, to me anyway the blue Elan in Ian T's post above was originally registered on the Island. All vehicles registered here prior to the new reg system had DL as the identifier in their number. It has now been replaced by the prefix HW (Hampshire Wight)
The photo shows a book I received for Fathers Day detailing many of the original vehicles first registered here.

Red M100 with a beige? roof on 101 around Palo Alto heading south in the morning and north in the evening.
See it quite regularly but never when I'm in mine - (Maybe I can't see over the central divide then)
Was beige an optional hood color? Only one I've ever seen not black.

Interesting to me too since my first car, a Riley 1.5, had the number YDL 11. So nice, I kept the number when I sold the car.
If anyone comes across YDL 1, please let me know. I've always fancied the pair.

That'll be mine! Having the paint tidied up and the exhaust made a little quieter! I'm gonna have to pop in and see yours now - love that colour but was too impatient to wait for one to come available!

She'll be in there all week (head gasket failure).

Two more H reg SEs in Sportomotive, a white one and an NMY. Another yellow one (looked very bright!) speeding up the overtaking lane on the hill outside Weymouth. (He or she was going too fast to get any more details!)
