Well, I'm there (as is angie) if you use the search, but on the flag i'm squashed by paul watkins.

Geoff isn't there at all in the picturesque hamlet of Kitty-Fidling :-D
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

......... which is in Guyana apparently.

Anyway Al, extremely good work done. The Midlands have been relocated to Zimbabwe (if you don't believe me search for SRE1, although there's no sign of Brummie Bilk ) and Wales has been moved to the Bering Strait (will_h).

This is turning out to be a very good week. :-D

Al,

Brilliant bit of work and very useful to see where people are exactly. Would it be possible to make the colour of the pin match the colour of the car?

However, Tytherington comes up in in the centre of Brissol (God forbid) and Oldbury-on-Severn, Bristol comes up at Oldbury Court Road, Bristol rather than East and West of Thornbury respectively. What does appear to work very well is post codes however. If admin do decide to take this on board, I would imagine it would be better to include a post code or similar field to link to Googlemap.

If it is deemed too difficult to incorporate into LEC, could you host a database which people could update?

Well, it really should be a trivial amount of work to tie into the forum DB, which I'm more than happy to do myself. I'll PM Tony about it now and let you know the outcome.

But, yeah, if for whatever reason this can't happen then I'll make some interface to let people update themselves.

I like the idea of the coloured pins, certainly it's possible technically, let's see what happens with the forum tie in first, and then we'll work out how to add in the data.

Doh, alright!

Why not do it for the benefit of Clemo then?
He may be "Moderating in the boot", but even I know he's the opposite end of the country to Cumbria!

Joss and Raina also seem to be missing. I cannot find Dico either.

Is this the start of an anti-East Mids conspiracy? :smt098

But not all of us. Dave Eds, Nobby & myself are all there. Paul.P & SBK are too. Gary :gray: is hidden beneath Paul.P. That's a little uncompromising

Hey Al :poke:

Is there a way to make the map pins user controllable? cause mine is way off too. and if so it would be a fun thing to have a link to in the forum menu as well.

:-D
