Spotted my first elan since owning mine, pity I was in my brothers CR-V. I believe it was a Palacio Purple S2 heading to Drymen on Stirling Road. What a day it was as well absolutely chucking it down with floods everywhere.

That'll be Alan (ab2cv) in his Ribena-mobile. He lives in Edinburgh and hails from Helensburgh way so probably coming from or going to see his parents

According to my cousin there was a very Red Shiny lotus elan driving around in the cadbury fitness club car park. The odd thing was that there was no driver behind the wheel!

All he said was the owner had grey hair.

lol, i know. Just thought not putting your handbrake on properly and almost rolling down the road into a row of parked cars isnt exactly a common occurence. Then again i dont think i would admit to that unless prompted.
P.S he did say the chap looked over 60 so that narrows it down to potentially 5 people.

Yesterday at about 4:45pm drew up alongside a Calypso Red SE (CJD variant) with female driver northbound on M5 between Jcts 7 & 5. Exchanged waves etc.

Oh that reminds me - yesterday I saw a red one on the M54 near to Cosford around 12.30PM. The reg may have been J*69DEW but the closing speed was at least 140MPH so I can't be sure!
