Thought you'd got a bit out of shape at Quarry Phil. Hadn't realised you'd ploughed the Wiltshire countryside as well

I have to be careful I don't get stonechips reversing out of my drive!

You don't need to go off road for your car to end up looking like that^ in Wiltshire! Thankfully it was dry yesterday, so the cow dung hasn't stuck. I was nearly run off the road by a tractor though. :(

No worries, you just have to install mud flaps at the front end of the wheels too!

I don't know if this will help, but I have a few (at least 4 sets of each) of the 'A100B2481F" and 'A100B2482F' flap kits from an earlier purchase from Lotus.

Price would be $45.00 each (Plus Postage) and I would be willing to ship multiples in one box for distribution by someone over there so as to cut down the US to UK shipping per set.

I might have a few more fronts than I have on record, but will have to find the storage box and count in real time.

There are at least 4 of each.

I would definitely be interested in a front set John. I was going to have a go at making some!

Maybe I should start a list?

I am away for a few days, so won't be able to calculate any postage and verify if I have more than those I have on my spreadsheet.
I believe I added to the order at the last minute but some orders didn't get updated.

Shipping to be calculated based on package size and weight...

Front Mud Flaps: $45.00 per set
1. Kathryn
2. Saltire
3. Clemo
4.

Rear Mud Flaps: $45.00 per set
1.
2.
3.
4.

5 and 6 are provisional based on true inventory count. Also if you want a set, add your name in case someone drops out.

Nobody wants the rear kits?

Morning all , BCN.

This is a bit lost in this Reversed into thread .

Probably worth splitting the topic to Elan Parts for Sale ?

that may help sell the other bits . All in agreement ?

Bye for now

Price would be $45.00 each (Plus Postage) and I would be willing to ship multiples in one box for distribution by someone over there so as to cut down the US to UK shipping per set.

So, I have finally gotten a chance to pull the flap kits and they are a LOT larger and heavier than I remembered. They are 14 inches by 10 inches by 2 inches and weigh 2.5 pounds.

Shipping from the US is crazy, so here are the options:

Single set sent by First Class Mail directly to a buyer is $45.00 for the flaps plus $50.00 for postage.

FIVE sets combined, sent by Priority Mail to a central location (Clemo has offered) is $225.00 for the flaps plus $100.00 ($20.00 per set / buyer) for the postage BUT then they would need to be distributed within the UK at whatever cost that would be.

Payments to me would need to be via PayPal using the Friends and Family option since their fee for processing is now 5% and I am offering these at my cost.

In case someone in the US has been watching this topic, if this group falls apart, I would still have some, so shipment in the Continental US via Priority Mail would be $25.00 per kit.

It's more than kind of Clemo to offer. However . . . Torquay is a fair way south and west. I have a potential alternative suggestion: if the flaps come to me, Kathryn lives just down the road. And I have upcoming trips planned to both Stafford and South Derbyshire, and also West Sussex, which might suit B_land and SimonBUK. That only leaves Clemo, and at worst I'll see him at Castle Combe in May. So we might have a way to distribute without further postage costs.

Please let me know if I'm treading on toes or speaking out of turn. :D

Jonathan, I know that Clemo is a long way away from most but didn't know you were close to several and able/willing to help.

Do you really want to test the USPS again this year? (private USPS joke, everyone)...

Let's see how everyone responds to the prices and we can then work out a plan or scrap the idea.

Thanks

Sorry, I'm a bit confused by the pricing ? What is the price if it gets delivered to a central location per set ?
