Just arrived at Cribbs Causeway a bit excited - just seen a yellow M100! Spotted it in my mirror after seeing a yellow blur out of the corner of my eye so nearly missed it! And this just seconds after trying to get the attention of an S1 Elise driver at the traffic lights.

The number of Lotises you see in the UK is unreal from a French point of view — the last ones I saw on the road, I was at Hethel in September, on a three lanes huge traffic jam which went nowhere! ^^

 Most spotted ever!

But given how heavy it was sleeting when I set off I was surprised I wasn’t the only one on the road today!
Saw an Evora on Sunday too! That’s three in three days! :-D

 (actually, I think I have never seen an Evora in France :-D — but it's probably a bit more a lack of sportscar in general than just a lack of Lotus sportscar.)

As a matter f interest, Julien, would you say that the legal framework in France (Controle Technique etc) tends to support or discourage classic car ownership?

Yes, seen that a few times before Christmas as it was my patch with ParcelForce for a while.

Had the rear spoiler missing and looked like it was being DIY sprayed as bits were missing and front number plate was in windscreen.

K154 BOH

Yellow Lotus Elan first registered 1st August 1992, which explains the SE hood and not S2 hood despite the wheels. Also somebody has fitted clear indicator lenses front and side.

76,000 miles and MOT due November 2019.

Looks nice (apart from being yellow).

I didn't know the hoods were different between series. What's the change?
