and bottom of the falling pillar...top of the b post.....
theres a return on the latter hood......and a straight down finish on the original hood

I've heard that said before, but is their actual definitive proof that its correct?, the reason I ask is because I have a sizeable
pile of original header seals I have removed from S2 and SE, I have studied them all closely and there are no noticeable differences,
all being the same length, design, and made of the same sponge, 2 in particular I have are definitely SE and S2, one from my white SE was its original seal from the factory and the one from my S2, which is also the original, neither had ever been off the car or had new hoods, I have just laid them together for this picture
and corner to corner there is hardly a 1mm difference in length, or in design.

As seen here.

If the header seal and rail was to be longer on an S2 then that would preclude the side windows would have to be wider apart as well surely?,
if not then where would the extra length be accommodated?.

I met up with Enright today for a wander around the British Motor Museum in Gaydon.
While wandering around some of the cars in their storage building, we came across this, which looks like it is one of the many signed 'last off the production line' vehicles.
The car itself didn't seem so important but I noticed the signature in the middle of this photo. I may be risking getting banned from the forum by posing it & therefore mentioning this person, but I found it amusing....

Well spotted, Iain - and comparing it to the signature I have from one of my recorded delivery letters, it seems to be a good match!

Spotted Saturday.
Who’s this? I thought I recognised the number plate. (However I can’t remember it or see it properly in the rubbish quick photo I took!)
