I'll be there in spirit but it's just a bit too far for a last-minute jaunt. Have fun - maybe Ekapol or Marie will grace your presence.

If it makes you feel any better, you didn't miss to much. I got there at about 12 pm and the turn out wasn't like it was when the event was held in Palo Alto.

btw - do you guys still meet up every so often in the Bay Area or people starting to drop off? It seems only you (Ekapol) and Marie are the last survivors in the BA. What happened to Mark, Scott, David, etc??? If you guys ever meet up, make sure to drop me an email (nobuyasu@yahoo.com) as I don't come to this site that often. I'd like to see what you guys are up to and what you guys are doing to your Elans now.

Last 2 survivors? I'm sure we all will come back up strong again. Just don't know when yet.

Our Elans got the worst kind of project creep virus. We seem to enjoy every minute of driving still. Getting more fun & better every day :burnout:

How's your Elise? Will definitely drop you an email if we have another coming up event ;-)

me and my lotus are still hanging on by a thread over here. my baby is in major need of TLC and I don't have the time anymore to work on it. not sure if ekapol and marie together could get it back in shape. but it is still great to drive when the sun is out and the top is down.

mechanically the car is in good shape and I can do most of the upkeep. What it needs is mostly work I can't do - interior makeover, both door locking mechanisms are shot, new top, repaint, new seals all around, new tires....
