Starting the count down--1 week to go (and the long-range weather forecast is OK, so far).
Any more sign ups?

Cheers, Joel

Joel, where exactly are we going to meet?

can you post here or IM or email me the general addresses for where we start and where we are driving to -- I just want to familiarize myself with the maps of those areas (no GPS).

Can't wait to see your Noble in person -- I will try my hardest not to drool on it :-D

Maybe the easiest way to get a feel for the site for anyone not familiar with the area is to use Google Maps and type "Santana Row, San Jose, CA" into the search box. This should bring up a map that's pretty clear. Santana Row is a large complex of condos/appartments and shops that is basically on the SE corner of Stevens Creek Blvd. and S. Winchester Blvd., and it is near the intersection of 880 and 280. There is a large parking lot off of Olin Ave in the complex where the cars generally gather. 50+ cars of all types will probably turn out, and there are generally lots of exotics to be seen. I'll probably get there between 8:30 and 9 AM to get some coffee and see some of the show. We'll need to be rolling out of there by 10:30 AM to stay on schedule.

I'll PM you with some more details of the run, Doug; and don't forget, drooling is only allowed on parts of the car protected with armorfend :-D.

Looks like I'll be flying solo on this run. the party on Friday night won't be too bad so I should be able to get a few hours sleep before I need to head out.

Ekapol, give me a call as my phone was stolen last sunday morning at the club maybe we can meet up on the way down.

I'm late to the party here on responding. My kind of event, but I have tickets for the A's game that day. Have a great time!

Great time guys.

Nice to meet you all.
Thanks Jim for paying the toll fee for Marie and I.
Thanks Marie for clearing those Porsches on 280 :-D
Thanks Doug for doing patrol job keeping us in line on the backroad :burnout:

We had 6 Elans (Marie, Justin, Jim, Dave, Mel, Ekapol) , an Evo (Doug), and of course Joel's handsome Noble.

Looks like a great day out. Fantastic weather and a lot of very nice cars in those photos linked.

Better than what I did this weekend. (house fixing stuff :( ).

Thanks so much for posting the pics, Ekapol and Marie. They really capture the day. It was great to see you all and to see so many cars on the run. I sure had fun, and judging from the lively conversation around the lunch table, I think you did, too :-D.

Had a great play date with all of the Elans and Elises playing well together with the Noble leading us into temptation.

Thanks much to Joel for setting this up. The addition of the GGLC was a great addition to the LEC's.

Great to see Doug out among the Elan's where he belongs and finally getting the test run in the Noble. He still has to decide which engine package to go with and the color of the double stripe.

Great photo's Ekapol. I posted this one so at least you get one action photo. He has earned his brass appendages this weekend for keeping up with Marie.

Thanks to all for the great day.

How did you do that? That's a great picture. And you had one hand on the direction sheet, another hand on the camera shooting backward on those twisty turns

Can all the crazies :rally: that took pictures while driving at the limits of adhesion mind sending me their raw uncropped pictures. I would like set up a thumbnail page to help share the photos around. To preserve anonymity 8) I will blur the plate numbers.
