For a moment I thought it was Orpington - they are forecasting a cold snap.

so just because they thought an ambulance couldn't get there they stop people having fun..

Got sent a video of my grandson having fun with his dad ... seems grandson has inherited my lack of self-preservation instinct & a need for speed ... can't post the video but this gives you the idea...

ahhhh ... well spotted  Not intentional, hadn't noticed that, thought it looked fast and may explain why the sound gets out of sync' with the video ...

looking at the original .avi files, they run for 3 minutes in audio but the video freezes at 1:40, while audio continues, but video continues at start of next file in syn with audio. Couldn't work out what or why ...
but thought it may be buffering problem on a £15 dashcam. I only bought last week so was first try out . I was joining them in Movie maker by video so running at 180 seconds in 100 so it's actually 1.8 speed video.

Instructions are a bad translation from Chinese but it seems I can choose Video Mode: Size: 1280x960 / 720x480 / 640x480 pixels and Recording time : 2/5/15 minutes but Menu in cam offers 1/3/5 mins.
Camera Mode offers 3M/2M/1.3M/VGA, a few other Language & Date setting functions and a choice of Light Frequency of 50/60 Hz.

My choice was 1280, 3 minutes and 50Hz Light frequency ... any suggestions what to change to keep video and audio in sync ??

Yeah.. Lucky the audio and video were out of sync because when I saw that van I let out the 'F' word - I was running through a deep single track channel up to window level on about 8" of powder. I saw him across the corner but my car was probably hidden and he didn't spot the silver roof - but he did very well to get out of the way as soon as he saw me so I didn't loose momentum. Stopped just after to dig the snow out of the rad intake. Not sure the rubber lip is going to survive but it's only a car - built to be driven ! A few big washers can put that back if it tears..

Very pleased to say window isn't cracked - that's the reflection of our overhead telephone service but it's a strangely distorted reflection. So strange I had to go out and check ...
