It also is a possibility that we are starting to see a McLaren decline, caused by a lack of feedback from the (inexperienced) driver pairing.
I did warn you it was only it was just a question of time.............

Think theres a lot of aggrieved Alonso fans out there Clemo, because theve just realised, that as good a driver as he is, if he ain't got a good enough car, he will be an also ran like the others. Having watched sundays grand prix, i thought Hamilton was awsome, his overtaking move on Massa shows the guys got real skill & balls.

however if alonso gets in that ferrari next year we could be in for some good wheel to wheel racing...
which would be good to see .....

I can't believe anybody has mentioned the most incident-filled Monaco GP I can remember for years. Seeing the cars whizz along normal roads just inches away from barriers is always a spectacle but, this year, the racing was enjoyable too.
Ironic that Lewis only won thanks to his own error, but then again almost the entire field lost control at some point.
Alonso trying to stick his nosecone under somebosy's rear wheel at the hairpin was one of the most reckless pieces of driving you are likely to see all season.

He seemed to have the edge on everyone all through qualifying.
I found it amusing that when he did his first lap, the commentators were going on about how his car was a handful and that he hadn't managed to get the setup right. That lap was fast & they never mentioned the handling again!
