That's the published figure. When I was at Silverstone, I was told it was more like £18m.

I read this week that Monza & Monaco get special concessions for being "Classic" F1 circuits.
I can understand Monaco; everyone likes the location & glamour (even if the racing is precessional). Sponsors especially love it, which makes it worthwhile.

But Monza??? What makes that so different to Silverstone? F1 didn't start there & it hasn't got at least 5 teams based within a 2 hour drive. If either one qualifies for a concession, I'd say Silverstone has got the better credentials.

Saw some of the engines for the Lotus team (and of course the others they will supply with engines) being built when at Cosworth today. Very impressive operation.

But your right, if you seen my last 360 spin at oulton last week just glad i didn`t touch the grass. I do have some vid but it`s not come out well
