The Red bull car is undoubtedly superior this year, but is Vettel THAT good or is Weber THAT bad ?????

I think Vettel is that good. Webber is quick just not as quick as Seb. Webber is terrible on race starts, he would of won Suzuka if he made a good start. not the 1st time either.

I heard that Webber's car was Red Bull's test bed. Once the parts are proven & refined, then they make it onto Vettel's.
It may explain the difference in reliability.
There is only 1 true comparison between the drivers: The Suzuki Liana! Hamilton was easily the quickest in that.

Yeah, tosh! Let's have the last goal scored equals double in football or 10 points for the final conversion in rugby!

That rule is simply crazy.

A shame that there doesn't seem to be a place for DiResta. I think he is much better than many on the grid. I find it difficult to want to cheer him on, though, as he has more whinge than Mansell.

I quite like him, but obviously he doesn't bring enough money or sponsorship, why should we worry about the points system its a blatant circus, not been a sport for many years.

Like any sport, you have to do a range of things to reach the top. To reach the top in F1, you have to bring sponsorship. DiResta seems to have failed to secure the sponsorship that is required. Raising sponsorship is just part of the job of a driver.

have you read about the Anthony Hamilton sponsorship stitch up? Paul is getting sued by AH for loss of earnings , err due to him being sacked by Paul.

So glad to see there's going to be actual racing for the lead this year, instead of the foregone Vettel conclusion. Button seems to have a good teammate again, too.

http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/ ... 15579.htmlAn interesting wrinkle to the first race, and provisionally giving McLaren a 2-3 finish! Sounds like Red Bull thinks they can pull the strings at the FIA (remind anyone of Ferrari past?) but the FIA is having none of it. IMHO, they were instructed what to do, then warned again, and still ignored the rules. They'd have been better off taking a few spots down with a slightly lower fuel rate and arguing the point after the race.

Hopefully, now that Bernie's influence seems to be waning, Red Bull will not be allowed to get away with their usual cavalier attitude towards the rules. Looks like the Renault engine was not performing and they decided to up the fuel flow to compensate.
For the first time ever I would have loved to have seen Vettel on the podium just to see the smirk wiped off his face.
As for the cars, my 1.6 turbo sounds better!

If the flow rate meter was defective, all Red Bull had to do was integrate the sensor data over the whole race and prove that it was showing more than 100kg of fuel. Simples.

I'm sure Christian Horner will be signing you up for the Red Bull team Geoff. Can you get me a pit pass for Siverstone ?

hopefully RedBullshite will fade away and leave the sport to proper racers and not fizzy pop pedlars. Had Schumacher and his bent Ferraris now smarty pants with his bent RB's, well time for stewards to enforce FIA legislation.
