Three-seater Elan?

Postby madbilly » Wed 20.09.2017, 08:52

Hi everyone,

Anyone got any tips for legallytransporting wife and baby in an Elan?! I'm now the lucky father of a beautiful daughter, born in early August.

I originally thought that since I'll be driving the Elan less I'll have more chance to work on it...

...tip for any yet-to-be-Dads out there: don't be optimistic about the amount of spare time you'll have with a newborn baby! Be pessimistic...then halve it!

Needless to say I'm still trying to stay more up-to-date with LEC goings on and I'll till try and get to meet-ups in the future.

Cheers :)

Congrats! These damned kids are what have kept me from driving the Elan much in the last 6 years, personally. But now, they're both finally in school so just yesterday I took my wife on the first drive together since she was pregnant back in 2011!

Thanks everyone :)

I'm not sure 'the wife' would be keen on the boot, though on occasion she might want to stick 'the daughter' in there!

I'm not sure about 4 seater Lotii. If I was going to have a four seater convertible it would have to be a Bentley Azure or Rolls Royce Corniche! Plenty of room and power for everyone, and who wants good cornering when it'll probably just mean everything gets spilt!
