The observant, like me, would have noticed that in the last photo taken that my near side side light is not working! I have checked it today and it's all good. Must have been a loose connection.

There again, many (like me) would have just accepted that you were turning right at the 'Give Way' junction, and the picture was taken whilst the indicator was flashing......
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

and we all know there's a least 10 layers of wax under all that dirt

But I drove 380 miles from Scotland and mine was still cleaner than Trevor's

PS it's worth more than you think Trevor

an uneventfull drive home. car performed perfectly fine and was nice to have a coupl of fairly long drives to fully test the phone holder and charger which performed flawlessly.

ive also fixed up my trailer and i now have an aditional vehicle in durham which is making me adjust my plans around it for the purpose of getting it with an MOT before the end of the year
Still learning

We've just got back from our extended stay at Castle Combe, it took us 2hr 20 apposed to 4hr 10 to get there
Leaving at 7pm meant it would be so much quieter on the roads, which proved to be the case.
The car performed faultlessly over the week, and was just perfect on all those little country roads :burnout:
It was even pretty good at keeping the rain out  :smt023

During the week, the weather did its best to dampen our spirts, but we still managed to explore the local area with a good degree of success.

Just a few highlights of our week (apart from the obvious weekend to start it  ).

All the years we've been to the track, but didn't take the time to walk through the village.

You just can't get away from them

Who doesn't like a castle ? this place was amazing !

The Chedder gorge, to be honest, as a drive, for me, a tad underwhelming.
As you can see we also did the cliff top walk, which was good, but your knees will not thank you for it.

Back in the ‘60s, there were regular hill climb meets staged at Durham Park.
