178 cars at LOG

Postby DeanG » Wed 22.09.2010, 01:32

Registration reports 178 cars listed as coming to LOG. Possibly the largest gathering of Lotus in the western hemisphere.

I Received a Letter Confirming my LOG Registration

Postby DeanG » Wed 22.09.2010, 21:51

Today I received a letter confirming my LOG registration. It details the options I chose (e.g., events, food, merchandise) has a schedule of events and directions. Everyone who preregistered should have received a confirmation letter or should be receiving one shortly.

Did I miss the boat on this, I see online registration closed on Sept 1st. At best I can only make it one day anyway, is it still full
price for just the day?

At this point it is getting late in the game for mail in registration. It may be best to do "walk in registration" that is show up and pay. All 3 days of activities are bundled so there is no discount for a single day.

EDIT --- I forgot to mention that although only registered attendees may exhibit their cars anyone is welcome to visit the car show and look around. The car show is on the grounds of Boyd's Bears. It is a public place and the public is being invited to come and view the cars. This is a zero cost way to see one of the high points of LOG.

Hope to see you there.

Our M100 will be there. Handed it off to a friend tonight. He will take it home to DC tonight. He will drive his Esprit, after replacing a clutch slave cylinder and his girlfriend will drive our M100 to LOG. A 6 hour round trip to pick up our car. Even though you will probably never read this - Thanks Phil.

The early birds have already started to arrive at LOG. I've seen several models in the parking lot: Seven, Esprit, Elise and Elite.

A friend is driving our M100 to LOG so we will have all our running Lotus here.

You wouldn't happen to have a washer motor would you? If I can get in to watch, I'd like to
come out on Sunday for the auto cross..

5 red, 2 yellow, 2 white = 9 M100's at LOG. Two ran the autocross. I've posted my limit of photos on this site. I have been posting on http://www.britishspeed.com/forum/forum ... ?68-LOG-30

I had an absolute blast at LOG30! I went to the autocross to work on Steve's new lady, got to see Mike Kennedy, Dean, Racer Steve, Jamie from Yesteryear Motorsports. I missed meeting up with Matt from RI, and I guess 3or 4 other M100 owners. But it was still an awesome time! I have a few pictures that will be uploaded by tomorrow.

Today was Steve's birthday, and I think he had about the best day I could imagine....... We just got back from the Track Day. We are exhausted. I'd be surprised if you all hear from Steve for a day or two, he'll be sleeping the weekend off

Steve's camera is full of Lotus/Chapman porn, we should have those uploaded shortly.

It was nice to meet you Dean, you have the coolest Seven I have ever seen. I was checking out your M100 at Summit Point on Monday, very nice! I think I left Phil one of my cards inside it.

By the way, Dean, did you or anyone happen to find an empty white spectracide pump squirt bottle which I accidentally left around the autocross course Sunday? I could have sworn I had packed it away, but I was experiencing a Lotus-induced overdose :D

Ok, my turn. Log was a blast. Can't say thank you enough. :-D
Autocross was fun but a very small track. Beating out the yellow M-100
if only by 1/10 made my day. Sorry Mike. Red cars are fassssssster.
Pictures to follow, I will need my daughter to show me how again.
TRACK DAY: Thank you Billy and KnoxMotor Sports for setting the car up.
Performance was up and beyond expectations. My goal was to pass 1 Elise
well that soon turned out to be 3 or more..............
Pictures to follow.

Steve -w- new lady :m100:

P.S. Billy I think I destroyed your brakes. 8)

nice pic, video, and Elan, Steve! Other than what I can see in the engine pic, do you have any turbo upgrade or other power boost beyond a chip? just wondering...

Everest, cone filter/LGM intake pipe, PCE, 2.25" piper, MSD coils, colder plugs.

soon to have ceramic coated manifold/turbine/KnoxStiffy, more boost, and perhaps a Thunderbird compressor upgrade. Winter project

Julia shot some awesome videos! I was so glad to be a part of the day. You were bookin it behind those Orange and Blue Elises!

Happy birthday Steve. I have some OK photos of you at the autocross. I very much hope your wife had as good a time at LOG as you did. I would have liked to hang out more but I was very busy working the event.

I added some M100 specific pictures on http://www.britishspeed.com/forum/showt ... #post65638
