I just booked our room.

We were warned to book early as the North East is a hotbed of Lotus activity with many active Lotus Ltd members and affiliated clubs.

Steve

There is one at the Glen in May. Lotus, Ltd. and Mercedes-Benz Club of America (MBCA) are proud to announce another exciting High Performance Driver Education Day and Laps and Lunch at Watkins Glen International race track on June 22, 2016.
The cost for this year'sevent is $395(US) when you register prior to May 22, 2016. Registration is now open at www.clubregistration.net. Just search on Watkins Glen after you register on their site to find our event.
Spectators are welcome for the event and there is no cost. However, Watkins Glen requires you to be preregistered in order to get into the track.
Please email Tony at tvacc@lotusowners.com if you have any questions.

Well "maybe" if Steve doesn't come, that will increase my chance of getting a first place award for my M100 this year !!!

Yes, I must confirm that LOG36 (with full approval and support of Lotus Ltd) will NOT be having an autocross or track event this year. We have planned so much to do and see these three days and your time will be jam packed with much to do that you won't even miss it. We know "some" will be disappointed with the lack of such an event, but the stats show that only a very small percentage of the LOG attendees over the years have stayed on to Mondays for those type events. We thought, as mentioned earlier in this thread, that the planned event at the Glen would suffice those needing to truly exercise and stretch those muscles. There will be driving events by way of scenic tours and drives in the area that are certain to please everyone and satisfy the desire to "drive" their Lotus.

So you'll just have to leave your racing gloves at home this year and rather focus attention to the intimate, exclusive, social engagement of Lotus folks, attend informative tech sessions, hear great and interesting special guest speakers, eat great food, prep and display your gorgeous car, take in the history and academia in the area, drive scenic roads, see the truly one-of-a-kind "Grounds for Sculpture", and so much more.

Looking forward to seeing you again Steve, so make sure you come!!!

I hope to have a different Lotus for LOG but that remains to be seen. The M100 will be the fallback car as it easy to hop in and drive it a few hundred miles.

A few years back (Las Vegas) Steve beat me in the auto-x using my car! :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Book your hotel rooms. We are very close to selling out Friday and Saturday night and so far we have more than 200 people who are arriving on Thursday night. Looks like LOG36 will have an early start! Don't delay on securing your hotel room at the Princeton Marriott Forrestal.

I live close to Princeton so I will be commuting on Sat and Sunday.

Just wondering what tech sessions will be what. The schedule just list the number not
what is being talked about.

At past LOGs I've held a tech session. Since I don't know much I laid out a bunch of the common broken parts so people could handle them (e.g., butterflys, orange clips, CAS...). I've also organized M100 breakfasts where we all get together to meet each other and BS. I'm still not 100% physically so I could handle organizing a breakfast gathering. If someone wants to hold a tech session I'm sure we could get a room and a time slot. Anyone have any ideas? Volunteers?

How about a Friday breakfast/lunch/brunch kind-of-pre-LOG meeting. We will be at the hotel by Thursday afternoon.
