Dean what item are you taking? I have decided to take the M-100 and maybe a track day at the 2.5 Mile Thunderbolt.

I'm taking the lower mileage M100. I'll be there Wednesday.

I'm also taking my last bottle of Lotus Blue vodka its fortified "with taurine, guarana, caffeine and natural flavors" so we can have a toast to Claudia.

We are looking at getting there on Thursday. The plan is for my wife to drive the M100 and I will get the Europa up there. I do hope it is not raining. The new top is not on yet.

Dean - we look forward to seeing you in a few days.

I am going to try and fit a popup tent in the trunk. It might fit if I take the legs out. We will see.

My wife Carolyn and I will be at the Hemming's cruise-in in Bennington VT. on Thursday evening showing off our Elan, and then continue on to Princeton on Friday to join the group at LOG 36. I know that my friend Claude Gagné and his wife Nicole will be there, and I look forward to meeting a lot of new friends from the LEC community.

We made it back home. My wife really liked driving the Elan on a long trip. It was a great event, good food and good people. We made a few new friends. There were several car issues that others had. One Elan had the front bonnet release stop working. We could not get the bonnet to open. We wish her luck when she gets back home.

Excellent turnout of M100s - red, white, yellow, green but no silver or black. The cars that won awards were definitely deserving. My M100 was front and (mostly) center in the panoramic shot so there shouldn't be any complaints about placement.

The hotel was nice. The pool was cooling after the heat of the car show. Reserved parking is a nice feature that has been done at the last 2 LOGs. Hotel food was great! Plenty of delicious stuff. Drinks where high. There were bars set up all over for us. I never heard a count of attendees or cars. We had our first LOG wedding which was pretty cool.

It was great to see everyone. I didn't meet many new people. Mostly I hung out in the comfort of old friends. It has been a very tough month for me. The hugs I received did help.

I got home OK after getting code 41 & 42. One tank of fuel gave 32 mpg so the mileage wasn't effected. The codes along with the exhaust and headlight controller need to be fixed soon.

Take a look at the Facebook pictures

Had a blast! Lots of M100's there. I think (besides Eliges/Evoras) the M100's were the most plentiful.
Here's a slideshow I put together from my wife & I's observations:

I stepped forward on Sunday. I saw enough people helping with the bonnet and figured it would soon be fixed. On Sunday when it was still not opening I offered to help. There is a way to trip the latch but we did not have a rod long enough.
Now single women are driving Lotus and coming to LOG. Why didn't this happen 20 years ago?
