Any recommendations for somewhere in the North East for a light service (oil/filters) and that can do MOTs as well.
Have heard reasonable things about Revline in Whitely Bay and others?
I am near Middlesbrough and yes I know an MOT could be anywhere just thought if it was a specialist and anything needed doing it would be easier.

Deeaitch lives in WB and I'm pretty sure he used Revline. Rambo speaks highly of them and I believe Colin owns an Elan, so get yourself up there and take in some culture.

They do seem to get a good report and not too far from me as long as they can do it in a day and I don't have to walk home!!
Or it looks like bus and train home I will give them a call don't expect anything untoward with the MOT and not due until mid May.

I thoroughly recommend MMC motors in Peterculter. If you’re after a Lotus specialist there’s a garage in Insch.
Andy_J should be able to help with reccommendations anything further North East than that.
Or do you mean North East England?

David,
Sorry, I was feeling grumpy on Saturday!
A guy I used to work for came from Middlesbrough and it used to annoy me when he referred to it as the “North-east”, particularly as we were usually in Aberdeen at the time. I used to tell him it was called Middlesbrough because it was in the middle!

I'm from Newcastle and it upsets me when anyone refers to it as the “North-East”. But I'm not as grumpy as the geologits from the land where civilisation ends, so I'm cool.
PS When I moved to the South-West, I was told I should support a team from the region: I couldn't decide which one, so I now follow Stranraer and Berwick Rangers.
PPS My son-in-law is from the Middlesbrough area and I've been teaching my 2½ YO grandson to say "Howay the lads"… I'm just waiting for him to say it in front of his father.

I think Middlesbrough is called that due to it being halfway between the Christian centers of Whitby and Durham! In Anglo Saxon times. With what was St Hilda's church being in the middle.
