Archie & Justine,
Thanks for your hospitality - great barbie.

Six Elans made it to Gairnshiel, and so did the rain. Very wet. Still had a good run to Tomintoul & back, and to the Grampian Motor Museum. The whisky shop in Tomintoul also did some good business from us.

It was nice to see you again Michael & Kitty - enjoy the rest of your holiday.

John

That's Ron (hence M100 RJR), who was Archie's neighbour in Edinburgh. He visits the LEC site occasionally, but isn't into computers.

No, I didn't get the number, but Rambo and Archie both know a bit of the history. I think the bloke from Prestwick (?Dave?) gave it the once-over for a prospective purchaser a year or two ago. Was a bit tired at that time but Ron's had a lot of work done on it. Hardtop is very nice (if you like that sort of thing).

Apart from the awfull weather it was a great w/e. Many thanks to Archie and Justine for their hospitality and allowing us to stay warm, dry, well fed and watered. Those of you that didn't/couldn't make it missed out on a very special venue with some of the best roads that Britain has to offer. And not a speed camera in sight !!

Here's a few pictures to make you jealous
