Was indeed a great weekend. Despite having the smallest tent for 2 in the world, it was fun.
The convoy back with the 4 of us was great, rip and I made it all the way to Watford (where I had 1 litre of fuel left) so thought I better stop. 315miles off that tank of esso's good stuff.

Some great pics Steve!

So my review of the weeekend...

An absolutely awesome weekend, great camping & drinking with friends old and new.

bobbrown wrote:A nice day out despite the weather and I wonder how often you get to see so many Lotus F1 cars in one place at one time never mind on the track.

Every Lotus Formula One Car was there. I was talking to one of the Classic Team Lotus people and when that had happened last. His simple reply was "This has never happened before and is unlikely to happen again."

Listening to the T127 as it roared down the back straight.

Speaking to Mike Gasgoine and Hekki Kovalinen

Neil lighting his stove upside down at 1am in the morning in the dark, sucessfully lighting the plastic box it came in!

Can't believe it's taken me this long to reply...! It was a super day (even though we did turn up in a Volvo!), but my, it was cold - and I'm Scottish!!! Even my big sailing jacket didn't help. Sorry we didn't see anyone, we did look, but no luck. We stayed in a fab Guest House in Acle after and had a great holiday in Norfolk. Such a joy to see all the old F1 cars, Lotus sure knew how to build 'em. It would be a shame if this was a one off.
Doing God's work, only faster...!
