Only just seen this. Thanks for that link. Saw that Vulcan from my Elan when travelling between Hadleigh & Whatfield and wondered what it was doing heading towards Wattisham which is now an Army Air Corp Apache base.
It did a very impressive manoeuvre as it banked to give plenty of room for a light aircraft coming in to Elmsett Airfield that's about a mile behind my home - I bet that pilot was surprised to be flying with a Vulcan nearby.

Leave me alone, I think I know what I'm doing.

CAA have approved pass flights again but at nearly 3K they are out of my reach Davey. Have to put it down to another on my lottery win bucket list.

Have you entered the free draw with 'Vulcan To The Sky'?

Whilst the 1st Prise is a ride in the Vulcan for a Fast Taxi run, the 2nd prize (which I'd prefer anyway) is a pass ride in a Spitfire alongside the Vulcan on it's last flight.
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?
