The bottle of whisky in my room was for DRINKING!
I think I know of the Navigator, next to the canal bridge. Not too far out but a fair way further than the Melbourne. How did you get there and back?
Men are like a fine wine.
They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh * t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

What was that then Neil ?? Enlighten us !!
From my memories of staying in the Burton on Trent area many moons ago, the Navigation Inn at Shardlow was good if it's the one I'm thinking of right on the canal ? We'll need to get booked up for next year - unless you're going to claim your freebie at the Tudor Inn.

LOL !!!
Mark
You must be joking - I'd get strung up!
I've put the voucher for the free meal for 7 in the kitty, which will be saved until next year. That is, unless any other events happen in the area in the meantime which a group of LECers could benefit from.
Striking fear into the hearts of duplicate posts everywhere...!

regrettably we had to drive COS yet again no taxis. the navigation was good though and we have got the details to book for next year.
The HI express has a mini bus - now i wonder if we could twist their arm if we were to buy some drinks at the bar when we got back.
Could the 'Hokey-Cokey' actually be what it's all about?
