OK - who's up for a run to Kirriemuir and Braemar on Sunday 26th Feb. ?

The plan would be to leave from Edinburgh via Perth and then drive on the interesting backroads to Alyth/Kirriemuir/Glen Doll possibly hitching up with any Aberdonian sheep shaggers or any others from the West or central region. We could have lunch/drinks at the fabulous GlenIsla Inn/Hotel before a quick thrash to Braemar for tea/coffee/shortbread/bagpipes before a return home.

Any takers ?

Due to apathy and lethargy from the rest of the eastern Clan we should probably re-arrange this to later in the year when the weather is better - sometime in Spring perhaps ??

Hairy Triangle. Bunch of lads I work with went through for a stag, they had never heard of the hairy triangle so i drew a map with directions to the Burke and (pubic) Hare ! Think they're going back soon !!!!

Hey Scott - I'm up for that. Probably camp at the site though and walk down the road for the scallops. Might even tempt JohnW as I think the B and B at Mrs Fish's is fairly reasonable ?

For me its up to Inverness then westwards. On a good day it's a 4 - 4 and a half hours drive. You're probably best heading up via Fort Bill ?

May be best to start a new thread - "Fish supper at Mrs Fish's" ?
