I'm also favouring the R10 and McNish, that would be a good result.

Albert, you have mail with my mobile number.

Nigel, I've made up some A4 sized flyers with LEC and cat which I will pin to trees and barrier tape to hold our zone.

Leaving tomorrow, so logging off now.

Over and out W.C.

Big thanks to Nige.

Albert, good to meet you and I enjoyed the fresh German beer. Saw your cars parked on the grass at Indianapolis on "mad" friday. By the time we tried to get back in from mulsanne the nasty Gendarmie had closed the road. Hope you enjoyed your trip and got back safely to Koln.

Thanks :D .

A good event, good to see Albert and met a few other Elan owners and spread the LEC word. The 'improvements' to the track and 'Village' are best described as unfinished! Good viewing from huge new earth banks at Tertre Rouge but less access for the public at the end of the start finish straight which is now all a bit corporate hospitality.

Highlight for me was gaining access to the pits on Sunday morning whilst the race was in progress and being able to watch pit stops first hand from one of the garages :-D.

Thinking about the result, I'm not sure the field was level as the Audi diesels were clearly faster and could go further on a tank of fuel than their closest challengers, the Pescarolos. Looking at the level of Audi support for the race a cynic could think that victory was available for purchase :?

Working assumption is to be there in 2007, I'll start a new thread.
