Must say a bit odd to be honest! Having driven a 3.5 litre auto Chevy for 2 weeks ( like driving a boat whilst wearing ear muffs!) to get back to driving the Elan (without crunching gears) I was almost deaf by the time I got it home (40 miles).
Can only put it down to having the roof up for the first time in months!
As for handling/speed etc its definitely a whole lot better partly due to being able to take it "through the gears" at last and with the new cam angle sensor/ reset timing its got more go in it. Suppose the cooler weather helps as well!
Was about to take it for a topless run but it's just started to p!$$ down!

So guys & Stef are we going to get another meet in this (still going strong)summer?
BTW there were 4 Elans today at the Stortford Show - one (M100) BRG, one Silver, one Paciffic Blue and a red which travelled ONE mile (even Gary cant have driven less distance to meet other Elaners
- but then again?)

Me and Paulp are having a mini meet at woodview truckstop (shell garage northbound) On the A1 at Stibbington.
Anyone fancy some greasy truckers grub and/or a brew and some tyre kicking?
Tuesday 6.30-7pm onwards.
4+ hours stuck in a damp bucket seat with a mad Irishman at the wheel - Deep joy!!!!

I'm not scared of the dark or the "Bogie Man". But it is nice to be seen in the car so Sunday would be good. Keep trying to attend but work gets in the way.
