meet is usually 9 for 9:30 at the services (Donington Park...Junction 23A M1, Derby DE74 2TN )....this is usually confirmed prior to the day
tickets are available from club lotus (at a discount if early enough).....

oh....tickets only required to get into the hall (where all the bits are for sale and the displays are)
no ticket required to wander the car park and look at all the lotus cars that have turned up
you can also buy the tickets on the door on the day......bit more expensive...and there's also usually a huge queue at 10am.....this has usually gone by about 10:45 as everyone is inside :-)

I was hoping the convoy would be up the M1! With a couple of rendezvous points on the way. I guess that's not the case then?

Sounds good to me Paul. Let's work backwards from whatever time the main meetup is confirmed to be. I'm guessing it would be around 7.30ish.

There is normally a convoy of up to 10 cars going up the M1 saturday morning. People say where they are going to join M1, wait in services and get a phone call when convoy is approaching. You leave at a slow speed. Convoy overtakes you then you just join the back. Simples!

I find the M1 convoy more enjoyable than the services-track one - rip.

I'll be joining the M1 from the A14 and can wait in a lay by just before joining it and await notification of you passing!

Are you sure?
I'm just thinking of what happened the last time you (or your car) was by the side of the road in that area :smt022

We usually do a rolling convoy. The M1 is fairly quiet that time on a Saturday morning so it is possible to work out fairly accurately what time we will pass each junction.
Sounds quite hard to arrange but it usually works really well.
