East Mids meet August 2006

Postby Stef » Wed 26.07.2006, 17:56

Well if no-one else has better ideas I suggest from 7:30 at the pub in Islip (wollpack, wheatshief - I always get it wrong!) on Tuesday 8 August.
Men are like a fine wine.
They begin as grapes, and it's up to women to stomp the sh * t out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

No hang on, that's the 2nd Tuesday of the month, Ashby Folville.

So could meet there or go for the earllier Tuesday 1 August. I'll be away for the rest of the month.

I'll let you decide. I hope to do Ashby either way.

Sounds good Paul - gives me a few days to pump the water out of the car after paddling up the M11 tonight! Whoever said Elans leak?

If you guys can handle a couple more calypso reds pitching up to make up the numbers, then myself and another (Richy P) are down the road from Scotland this week... can we come play..?? I can find that boozer, but do you rendezvous for a cruise 1st to get there?

Andy, depends where your coming from ?, we seem to all come from different directions, Dave from Stanstead, me from Oakham, Stef from Kettering, so meeting up could be a problem, but tell us where your coming from & we'll see. Anyway, your more than welcome !
