I like the idea of this and the location but If I do go it won't be this month, perhaps later in the year. I'll suggest it to the Southern area crowd and see how they feel about a meet there either instead of or in addition to our usual monthly gathering. We'll soon see which LEC'ers are Mods or Rockers at heart

No fighting in the car park now! We are gentlemen, remember.

I'm going tomorrow, some mates will be there but they usually hang about at the Ace anyway
If the weather is good as it has been this week it will be busy. The trevors will be there too and they seem quite friendly, I'll get there before 7:30 to get a spot in the carpark.
The last 2 weeks have been really packed at the Ace with lots of chavvy showing off in the street

but the classic and Lotus 7 night was an air of civillity.

Is there a prize for guessing which car you will arrive in?

That's what makes it worth a prize! Will's profile should read Fleet owner instead of God

Although I'm on my 3rd M100 and would have bought an Esprit on the WE if the guy hadn't sold it the day I was going to see it!
You fancy coming down Geoff? you could stay over night with the Dragon!

Nice to meet some of you guys last night, compare and contrast my car against some other Elans and pick up a couple of very useful pieces of info along the way. Felt quite proud as I was waved into the car park by the stewards..
Hope to make it next time too.

It certainly was sir. I'm guessing (from the picture) yours was the yellow one? I had a good look but no chance to say hi.. thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the cars there last night and look forward to next time!

Of course now the penny has dropped. I sold a part to a bloke in london addressed to Google, I think his name was Al, I also met an Elan owner last night called Al
It's all very clear to me now. It's not that I'm stupid you understand it's just that my memory is so bad.

Your guess is spot on
For the record (and the benefit of the forum users) there were 4 M100s - the silver and NMY as mentioned plus the 2 OAPGs of Surfboard Filler and goog-Al, - a JPS Europa, a 7, an Esprit, lots of Elises and Exiges and new Europas, and a 2eleven (or 24/7, 7/11 whatever they're called). Also the odd TVR and motorbike here and there.
Had to laugh when the 3 Porkers with their 24 heures du mans sun visors got turned away - they were a week early/ three weeks late!
