Yeah they use some interesting camera angles. How long are they taking to do the circuit, averaging 130mph not long i guess.

Looking at getting a clamp mount and camera myself before our trip and hopefully in the next couple of days so I can test it this weekend at Snetterton . Still not entirely sure what I need/want at this point however!?!

Which route are you planning to use to get into Liverpool ? Are you going to drive the extra 20 miles, or so, to the M56, where our rich cousins from the South are going or are you thinking of the more direct route for you ? e.g. the M58 ?

That was the 'early bird' fee before they put their prices up.

The website shows the cost at £99 on the day, £85 for pre-booked and paid. Additional drivers £19.50, passengers £5

Decided not to do the TD Yeah i know what you're thinking CT's bottled it. Well no I'm going to see if i can take some photos of the car and maybe include some of the wonderful scenery while you lot are taking 5000 miles off your tyres Also extra browny points cos Dee likes the idea too. Incidently guys, noticed on the Duke website they have stipulated specific helmet requirements. Really looking forward to the trip now - not long to wait.

Is it too early to talk about meeting up venues and times? I've forgotten where we met last year but it seem to work quite well. What time is sunrise on the IOM when we go so we can maximise lap times

Chris - I'll be watching the TD action from the sidelines as well (unless i get offerred a pax ride - helmet will be packed, just in cased ) as Angie doesn't want her car to be tracked (and as it's hers, I can't really argue!).

Just as a thought - there will be extra traffic on the island whilst we're there - not only the summer holidaymakers, but it's also the weekend of the IOM Rally. Presumably if we keep away from the routes used on the rally, then it shouldn't affect us too much. (easier said than done)

ooooh you now how to hurt just to remind you a handbag on the IOM is called a sack wherewe come from and shoes are made out of wood and make you walk like a Geisha (or is it 'gray'sha ) I'm going to give the TD more thought TD's costing me a grand+ this year
